PMO Administrator

About the Role

At NSW Telco Authority we are currently looking for an experienced PMO Administrator (Senior Project Officer) to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to the PMO, which includes reporting, resourcing and liaising with all management levels to provide summarized information on projects and programs. 

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Work closely with the Manager Governance & Risk to respond to requests and perform PMO administrator activities across the portfolio
  • Ensure reports and dashboards are published as required and accurately presented to management to enable effective decision making
  • Assist with managing the tools, data, reports and processes used to track delivery performance for all programs, projects and initiatives within the portfolio
  • Experience in researching and developing strategic initiatives that align to the business strategy and preparing reports, briefs and other documentation to support these.
  • You will also be an advanced systems thinker with knowledge of continuous improvement and change management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated capacity to think critically and strategically with strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships across the business

About you

To be successful in this role you will have worked in fast paced project management office. You are confident working with enterprise-wide tools and systems to manage  your work.You will be project management certified with Prince 2 and /or PMBOK certifications. 

Positive, confident and energetic you have strong communication skills and are able to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You are self-motivated and work well under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment, with excellent time management skills and the ability to deal with multiple deadlines.

About NSW Telco Authority 

NSW Telco Authority is working with government agencies, and other partners to design and build the next generation of critical and non-critical operational communications services for NSW Government agencies, to better enable them to service and protect NSW communities.

Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $110,745 base plus superannuation
