Following a review of the operations of the People, Culture and Community Division, we have a new opportunity for a Manager Human Resources and Support Services.

Reporting to the Group Manager People and Culture the new Manager Human Resource and Support Services will be a vital part of the Division. The role will pursue corporate goals through effective team-work, developing sound working relationships with a range of internal and external parties.

We are looking for an experienced and professional people leader who is highly motivated, keen to make a difference and is a dedicated team player with a commitment to Council’s values.

The right candidate will build the capacity and capability of the HR, ER/IR and payroll teams through the implementation of effective and innovative systems and procedures. This will include the development and roll out of a new Business Partner model. An exceptional outcomes-focused communicator, the incumbent will have highly developed skills in identifying innovative policy options to pro-actively meet the requirements of the changing workplace.
