About the role
Canva is on a mission to empower the world to design. As a Senior Product Designer you'll work across core creation tools — shaping experiences used by over 150 million people worldwide. This is a hybrid role with genuine flexibility: 3 days in the Sydney studio, 2 days wherever you do your best thinking.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end design for key product areas, from discovery through to shipped features
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define and solve user problems
- Contribute to and evolve Canva's design system
- Mentor junior designers and champion design quality across the team
- Present work to senior stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in a high-growth tech environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex UX problem-solving and visual craft
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with design systems at scale
- Experience working in cross-functional agile teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
How the flexibility works
Hybrid — 3 days in the Sydney CBD studio, 2 days remote. Core hours 10am–3pm AEST; flexible outside that window.
